About Us

The Secret Fox Education is an online collaboration between Secret Salon Society (Kristy aka "The Technical") & The Fox & the Hair (Mia aka "The Talent").

 
Kristy, a former Salon Owner, founded Secret Salon Society in 2015. Initially Kristy helped Salon Owners set up 'gym style' membership programs in their businesses, but quickly grew to involve a few other services including networking events and collaboration with a number of industry leaders in Australia.

Mia owns the 'it' salon in Australia, The Fox & The Hair, as well as runs sell out education classes mainly focused on balayage and styling. Every young stylist wants to work at The Fox & The Hair, and every Salon Owner aspires to own a salon like hers. She has a big Social Media following, and lives to give to our industry.
The Secret Fox was formed as a result of the need to bring high quality education to the Hairdressing industry, in an easy to access way. If you are a stylist or salon owner who wants to invest in education, but may not have the budget to attend classes in person, be it for the time out of your business, or the logistics of the travel, then this is for you.

If you just suffer from FOMO and don't want to miss out on anything cool, this is for you.

Mia & Kristy share a passion for unpretentious, real education. We love Social Media and know thats where everyone is at. Our goal is to tap into those who know. The influencers, the style makers, the ultimate industry creators who are shaping current looks and trends and bring the lessons to our community so we can all be better hairdressers.

We feel like so many stylists are given pictures that they just have no idea how to create.
